- Android Auto Wireless Adapter

Fast shipping and works great. Setup was a breeze.

tl;dr: the AAWirelss 2 performs as/better than advertised. Even with native hostile infotainment software .. I installed the AAWireless 2 in my 2019 Ford Bullitt and, as anyone will attest, the Ford Sync software doesn't like to play nice outside of it's own sandbox. The issue I first noticed is that the AAWireless would not consistently connect/initialize as it would in a wired configuration! After much soul searching and only minor consideration of contacting AAWireless support it finally occurred to me that I also had a Sony Walkman (highly reccommended! excellent audio quality) connected via USB that would initialize/index itself at the same time as the AAWireless box and THAT was what was causing my issue.. Easy solution: plug the AAWireless in after the infotainment screen comes on. Since this flash of inspiration, smooth sailing!

I have tried several of these devices. Finally a product that does what it promises. Beautiful, compact and functional. There is a blow, enter the car and he does his job. Good, congratulations.

Easy to upgrade from AA1 to AA2

Had an issue not there

Einfach in Betrieb zu nehmen und bisher sehr zuverlässig. Was mich ein wenig stört ist das beim Aussteigen aus dem Auto noch 2- 3 Anmeldeversuche erfolgen. Das ist aber Meckern auf hohen Erwartungen....

Setup was easy! When I first plugged it in, it appeared to not work at all, but I downloaded the app to my phone, ran through the troubleshooter, and after only 2 questions, it had fixed itself! Works flawlessly in my 2017 Honda CR-V.

The main reason I bought this thing is that I can swap from 5 Ghz wifi to 2.4 Ghz. The 5 Ghz was useless in my area and the fact I could swap is the only reason I can even use the device. A great feature and much appreciated.

The product does what it promises to do effectively and reliably, able to connect with more than one phone easily with the help of the app. Having said that, it will disconnect, often at the beginning of a drive, usually once, but then provide a reliable connection for the rest of the trip. I suspect that might be attributable to my car's system.

The device works fine, it arrived quickly, but the quality is not perfect. The device itself falls apart easily, the inner part slips out of the housing, and on the other hand it tends to disconnect during use, then of course reconnects to the car, but it is annoying. It is more unreliable than the device I used before.

Eerst geleverd toestel was jammer genoeg defect, maar na de nodige vragen/antwoorden over het defect, werd er onmiddellijk een vervangtoestel opgestuurd. Dit was na 10 minuten geïnstalleerd en werkt perfect, zoals verwacht! Prima service van de helpdesk!!!

Hatte Fehlkauf getätigt. Super Rückabwicklung.

Device could not show a full screen Android Auto in my Mercedes E-Class but the customer service was fantastic with fast responses, explained that the previous model feature was not available in this model and happy to accept a return and refund.

Fijne ervaring bij het gebruik van Android auto nu ik,zonder telkens een kabel te verbinden, direct gebruik kan maken van b.v. navigatie of spotify. Als ik bij de auto aankom maakt AAWireless verbinding en als ik de auto gestart gebruik is de verbinding al klaar. Geluid en beeld is prima. Ben dus zeer tevreden over AAWireless en kan het iedereen aanrade.n

Works perfectly fine with my Hyundai Ioniq 5. Absolutely need to activate the dongle mode (sleeps right after turning off the car, and then stops USB cuts power after 15 minutes). On my phone I must allow the aawireless app to run in background, otherwise the dongle mode doesn't work (the app must check for Bluetooth connection to the car continuously). Device is incredibly fast and audio streaming is as good as standard Bluetooth connection. Definitely recommend it!

I already own v1, but for my wife's new car I got v2.0. I like them both. But the new button is a very nice feature if you need to switch easily between phones. Which is only needed when using my wife's car. Perfect solution.
