Will AAWireless work in my car?
If you have a compatible Android phone and your car or head unit supports wired Android Auto, AAWireless should work in your car. Do the compatibility test to check if you car and head unit are compatible with AAWireless. Phone-wise, wireless Android Auto is supported by all phones running Android 11 or above. Please note: this means Huawei devices and devices running Android's 'Go edition' are not supported at all.
Will AAWireless work with future versions of Android Auto?
Yes, software updates of Android Auto should not affect the device's functionality. In case they will do, we can adjust our firmware to it, which you can then use to update your adapter via our free companion app.
Is AAWireless certified?
Yes, AAWireless is certified to industry standards and with the following certifications: CE, FCC, UKCA, ACMA, and IC.
My car never turns off the power completely, will AAWireless drain my battery?
No because the power consumptions of our adapters are simply too low to drain your car's battery.
Is there a warranty?

What is the difference between AAWireless and other adapters?
The AAWireless adapter is more advanced than other adapters. It comes with a free companion app, which gives you full control over your device. Popular dongles like the Motorola MA1 can't be connected to such an app, meaning you can't download firmware updates as easily. Our app also enables you to customize features and troubleshoot to optimize your wireless Android Auto experience.
I don’t have WiFi in my car. Does AAWireless use WiFi or Bluetooth?
The AAWireless wireless Android Auto adapter has both WiFi and Bluetooth hardware itself. You connect your phone to the AAWireless adapter via Bluetooth, after which the adapter establishes a WiFi connection. It then disconnects from the Bluetooth network and solely uses WiFi from that point on. After setup, it will connect automatically each time you get into your car.
Is it possible to update the AAWireless adapter?
Yes, we occasionally provide OTA (over-the-air) firmware updates. This way you'll always have access to the latest features and make sure your device performs optimally.
Can I connect multiple phones to AAWireless?
Yes, but just one of them will launch the apps on your car screen. Fortunately, with the AAWireless TWO, you can switch between phones with the push of a button. Do you have multiple phones connected to AAWireless? You can then use the button to pick which phone should show its apps on your car screen: perfect for a road trip with multiple co-drivers.
How do you handle shipping & returns?
Our products are shipped from a central warehouse in Hungary every working day. If you place an order before 13:00 (GMT +2), it is usually shipped the same day. Depending on where you live, you will then receive your product within 1 to 3 working days.
If you wish to return your wireless Android Auto adapter, you can do so within 30 days after receiving it. Please note: sometimes wireless adapters don't seem to work due to specific settings or car configurations. Since this will be the same for any other wireless Android Auto adapter, make sure you first go through the troubleshooting guide in our free app or consult our support agents via our support page.
