You can personalize the adapter

AAWireless gives you a free companion app that lets you adapt the adapter to your own car. You change the Wi-Fi channel when the audio stutters, adjust what the button does, and put the adapter on standby if your car keeps the USB port powered. Firmware updates run through that app too, and your existing connection stays intact while they install.

That's not possible with the Motorola MA1 and MA2. There is no app. The adapters have a button: on the MA1 it's for pairing and resetting, on the MA2 it's for switching between two phones. The MA2 also has an on/off switch that keeps unwanted connections from happening.

Pairing phones

With AAWireless you can pair an unlimited number of phones. A single button press moves you to the next paired phone, and in the companion app you set which phone gets priority by default.
